FindMyPub.com, the leased and tenanted pub recruitment arm of MyPubGroup has overhauled their recruitment systems to create a new industry-leading website and client platform for use by both pub applicants and pub companies.  MyPubDNA+ and the Applicant Portal, launched this week, have attracted long term contracts with six of the major pub companies as well as smaller pub companies and family brewers. Alongside this, the company have just launched a new look Website with some exciting added functionality.

With 40,000 unique visitors per month, the new website makes the candidate application process simpler, faster and more transparent.  The website now offers applicants an additional application route via an online self-screening form.  This is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.  Each online application is adapted to individual pub company’s requirements making them bespoke to their own recruitment criteria.

Every applicant, once screened, has the opportunity to be added to FindMyPub’s new Applicant Talent Pool of which clients, who have a subscription to the enhanced MyPubDNA+ can access. Applicants in The Talent Pool are automatically matched to future vacancies if their requirements meet the pub vacancy and its trading category, streamlining and automating the whole matching process.

The pub company can also clearly see the competition from other pubs available in the market by using the analytical tools on the platform, drilling down to local area, trading category and agreement type ensuring they can see whether their deal is competitive for that area and where the marketing should be focused.

Speaking about the system, Group CEO for FindMyPub, Helen Lees said, “This innovation is a first for this sector and we’re extremely proud of the recruitment benefits and efficiencies it will bring to all concerned.  The comparable data correlated from representing an average of 1800 live pub vacancies across the country is invaluable if a pub company wants to fill their vacancy effectively with the best people at the most competitive deal”.

Matthew Ralphs, group project and recruitment marketing manager from Ei commented, “MyPubDNA+ has provided us with a valuable vantage point from which to gain clear insights into our recruitment activity with FindMyPub.com.  Most crucially it gives us an instant secondary database of applicants already matched to our opportunities and the live data is commercially beneficial to our recruitment strategy”.

Web director at MyPubGroup, Stuart Maynard Keene said, “We have nearly 250,000 pub searches a month so it’s vital that we designed a system that was easy to use and would capture those people. We know there is nothing like it in the sector with both the pub applicants and pub companies gaining added value benefits from using the simple online processes and real-time reporting elements”.
